Land of the Free

Because of the Brave
This video still makes me cry every time. Thank you to the families that sacrifice as well:

  1. Those videos always make me cry. The pure joy on a child's face at seeing their parent must be so overwhelming but thrilling to them. I haven't even watched the video yet and I'm getting teary-eyed!

BTW, I mentioned you and one of your projects in my decoupage post {2nd one down on my blog}. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Thanks for that, Melissa. I've seen this clip a number of times and the little boy's face, when he sees his dad, kills me every time.

  6. WOW! What a great video, I have not ever seen that before. We never think about the scrifice's that our troops and their families make or have made. Thank you to all of our military and their families.

  8. Thanks for that post. It made me cry and we go through that often. My kids cry when dad gets home too. It is so hard on the little ones as they don't comprehend time it just seems so long to them.
Mine leaves in about a month and believe me Christmas will be hard with him gone.
Thanks to all of them that serve.
