My heart was touched when Tiffanie sent me the New York plate and the story of her husband, Mike.  He is 25 years old and has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. He serves our country in the Army National Guard and as a Grand Island volunteer firefighter. Tiffanie let me know that the doctors have found a bone marrow donor for Mike and his transplant is scheduled for November 13—tomorrow! You can read their story and make a donation here , and I am asking all of you wonderful readers to keep Mike in your prayers as he goes in for his transplant tomorrow.

Thank you again, Tiffanie for the plate and for sharing your story with us~we’ll be thinking of you both tomorrow!

  1. I like your fun little randomness, like the license plates. You have a great blog!

  2. Praying for a successful transplant and speedy recovery.

  3. Please send my love to them! I am a complete stranger, but my heart was touched. Almost ten years ago my hubby was also diagnosed with acute leukemia. Such a hard road, but so many blessings can come! I will remember them in my prayers. I am happy to say that my hubby is healthy srong. Thank you for your blog I enjoy it often!
