easy skirt fix

26 January 2011

I have a denim pencil skirt that has a high slit up the back that I wanted to fill in.
I took a men’s shirt I got at a yard sale for $1 (do you ever buy shirts just for the fabric?? I loved it..)january 2011 057
Cut a piece of fabric out to cover the slit (finished edge of the shirt on the bottom)january 2011 053

I attached it with a few pieces fusible web leftover from my living room curtains along the top and a few inches down on the sides:january 2011 045
Much better than my white veiny legs flashing everyone. :)january 2011 052
Happy Wednesday~
