Thank you, Jill! Anyone who knows what 320 sycamore is from IAWL is an instant friend. Just looked up 3:20~what a great scripture. You made my day.

  2. What a little cutie pie!  Mine was blonde and blue eyed at 2 1/2 also.   He's almost 19 and doesn't really want me to hold him and tell him stories anymore.  Enjoy it!!

This poem is one of my favorites.  We have a two-and-a-half-year-old grandson who is beyond wonderful and this poem brings tears every time I read it.  Also "320 Sycamore" is a favorite.   We've seen the great movie, It's a Wonderful Life more times than I can count, and I noticed that address right away.  I love it because of the 320 - Ephesians 3:20 is one of my favorite scriptures too.  Heavenly Father has such wonderful plans for us..."....above all (we) could ask or think."  Thanks for your blog.  Good luck with everything!

  7. Oh, my mommy heart aches! My little boy is almost 2.5. He will start a 2-day/week preschool next month and he won't stop growing! I'll hold him a little tighter today. Thanks for the reminder!

He is such a cutie, Melissa!  I don't have to tell you that it does pass in the blink of an eye.  My baby is 21 now.  I am reliving it all over in a much slower pace with my granddaughter!

  11. Oh my goodness, that boy is the spittin' image of his daddy!  What a darling boy.

I'm partial to little boys, you know. . . and they become big boys awfully fast.  So I think the advice in this poem is great wisdom, indeed.

Sweet.  My youngest son (30) is married and in the Coast Guard. They just went to Sitka, Alaska for a 3 year tour.  They have been there less than a month.  Yesterday my little 2 1/2 year old grand son Chance broke his right leg.  I miss them so much my heart breaks.

  14. Such good advice. My son just got home from his mission and it seems to me like he was 2 1/2 just last week. Of the very few regrets I have the biggest is not spending more snuggle time. Enjoy him while he is small. They grow so fast.
