tip no. 5

tip 5

My friend Lynee taught me this trick when we lived in Idaho. Instead of cases everywhere, store all of your dvds in a protective dvd binder. We take the sheet out of the case, cut it to size, and place it in the sleeve so we know where it goes when we are finished.  Uhh, maybe I should clarify: so that I know where they should go when they are piling up on top of the dvd player. I’m pretty sure I’m the only one in the house that puts them away.

They are *somewhat* alphabetical~sometimes I give my girls the job of organizing it when it gets out of hand.may 2012 003

Here is one on Amazon ~ they can be pricey, but here is a BONUS tip :)  My Rite Aid is clearancing half of their store and these may 2012 005

were 75% off! Some of our pages are ripping, so it was perfect timing. You may want to call yours to see if they have some!

  1. We do this too in our home & sadly I too am the only one in the house to put the DVDs away. ;)  Works beautifully!

That's so funny, I was just buying a new DVD holder for mine today - I get mine at a site called Meritline and I purchased one that holds 420ish for $11.  They're good quality and usually have free shipping.  We have LOTS of DVD's and we've also moved our ancient CD collection to them as well.  Great tip to share!

  4.  Follow me, boys is a wonderful movie!! Staples carries some that are really pretty, though they are a bit spendy. We are collecting slowly- totally worth it so we can hide toys, diapers, shoes, etc.and have the movies out!
