mobile bike repair

04 October 2014

Day 4:
One of my favorite services I’ve come across is a mobile bike repair service in our area (Utah county) Our kids have been riding hard all summer and their bikes needed some work. He comes and in a matter of 15 minutes, fixed brakes on 2 bikes, changed 2 tubes (price included the tube) for $36. For us to go to the store, pick up the tubes, come back, change them, fix the brakes, go back to the store because it was the wrong size, watch the youtube video again about how to fix the brakes, it was worth every penny.

Freddy has no idea I’m posting about him and we have no connection, but I just wanted to share a great service in the area. Maybe you have something similar in your area?freddys
You know I love a good DIY, but some things are worth the money.
What is something you know you could do on your own, but have no problem paying someone for?

  1. That service is a cool idea! For me it's changing the oil in my car. I did it once to be sure I COULD do it, and that was enough. I always think I'm going to pay someone to paint walls, but then never actually bring myself to do so :)

I agree! Especially when you have to be up on a ladder to get to them.

Painting is something I've always done unless the ceilings are high -- that scares me. We get our oil changed at the shop as well.
