I try to stick to emails with craigslist and weed through them, but then you have to coordinate meeting times, etc. Yard sales are alot of work, but you get it done in one pop.melissa*320 sycamorenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4094626877865766804.post-36692262410428697112014-01-18T09:05:18.332-07:002014-01-18T09:05:18.332-07:00 that is funny! he was just going to get himself o... that is funny! he was just going to get himself on that bus :)melissa*320 sycamorenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4094626877865766804.post-37402705563781150642014-01-18T09:05:17.359-07:002014-01-18T09:05:17.359-07:00 maybe?? maybe??melissa*320 sycamorenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4094626877865766804.post-23504730941290562972014-01-18T09:05:16.327-07:002014-01-18T09:05:16.327-07:00that looks lik emy dyer! we trip the breaker all t...that looks lik emy dyer! we trip the breaker all the time & recently the power button stopped working, we have a repair guy in and he said they just give out. wonder if the the same thing happed with yours?Peggy Lushinehttp://profiles.google.com/peggybegnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4094626877865766804.post-63537557347046609332014-01-18T09:05:15.337-07:002014-01-18T09:05:15.337-07:00Craigslist. We're in the middle of a big cross-country move, going from a big mid-western house to what will surely be a small California house. Obviously, we're going to need to lean down, and I've been putting things on Craigslist. A few things have sold just fine, but I've had my fair share of people trying to pull scams and people who get upset that I won't drop the price by 75%, as well as a couple really creepy calls. It's getting to be more trouble than it is worth. I'm almost to the point now where I'm just going to move everything and have a huge garage sale once I figure out what won't fit. But you have to be prepared to handle some lemons every now and again. I had an experience very similar to yours a couple of years ago when we sold my husband's old TV with built in VCR when we got married. It was an old box, but still worked. The buyer emailed me a NASTY NASTY email about how it broke when she tried to screw in the cable (who knows if she did it correctly, it wasn't broken when we sold it) and called me all kinds of nasty dishonest names. It literally made me cry and feel so bad, so my husband called them to work out the exchange back (I wasn't going to let her keep it, since it still worked for what she wanted it to, she just flew off the handle about the other little piece). Her husband apologized like crazy, saying that his wife had had a bad week and this just set her off, he didn't know why, it wasn't that big of deal. We turned around and sold it to someone else for just a little less, being upfront about the broken piece and they were very happy with it. Some people are just nasty. My son is a car rider, but when he was in first grade he was like your boys and very excited to ride the yellow bus. One day when I went to pick him up after school, one of the aides informed me that he tried to go home on one of the buses. Luckily the bus driver didn't recognize him from her route. brandihttp://bet1975.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4094626877865766804.post-76424183992033639722014-01-08T08:10:55.326-07:002014-01-08T08:10:55.326-07:00That stinks about your dryer.
