4th of July decor * flag buntings * Americana decor ideas

Hello and happy summer! I tried to get to get some patriotic spirit around here -- it's been SO HOT. Like record breaking but I think most of you are facing the same thing. 

I hung these flag buntings under my windows with command hooks and they kept blowing off and so my friend Lydia had a genius idea to use sticky tack at the top of each hook and it totally worked and they have stayed in place! I love smart neighbors.

I also have to tell you that Michael's had the cutest patriotic decor this season! You may want to go check it out -- I'll link them if I can but if they say they are gone, check your store. Mine said they were out of stock but they still had some.
