smooth move

25 February 2009

I got this brilliant idea from Real Simple (have I mentioned how much I love that magazine??) Anyway, this is for the beautiful ribbon you may get on packages or gifts and want to re-use: The next time you have your flat iron out for your hair, pull out your crumpled ribbon as well.
Give it a quick run through the hot flat iron and,

ta-da! You have like new ribbon, ready to be re-purposed.

Works for me.
This also works for me: Quizno's is having their million sub giveaway~just give them your email address, and they'll send you a coupon for a free small signature sub. Then, you can sign up your husband, or friend up as well and have a free date! Hurry though~they'll stop once they hit one million. Thanks for the link, Bliss!
And speaking of giveaways, don't forget that entries for my 100th post drawing close tonight at midnight~have a wonderful day!

I had to delete your WFMW link because it wasn't a permalink. Please visit my page and click on the line that reads "Was your link deleted?" if you need help. I hope you'll link back up this morning!

  7. My hair is so flat I don't need a flat iron...I just run my ribbons over a warm light bulb.

  9. I use my flat iron for EVERYTHING!! It is use as a quick ironing job on my collars and sleeves when I am running late for church on Sunday. You can use it for iron ons and quick hemming on pants w/ the glue tape. Shhh don't tell anyone!
