It replaces this~it was never quite right for the space:
The most time consuming part was removing all of the heavy old electronic equipment. My son was in heaven playing tooltime with all of the wires and screws. I'm thinking of just getting him an old radio or something to just have fun taking apart for Christmas. :) The rest was sanding, filling in the scrapes and holes, and painting with leftover primer and paint from other projects, (probably about 4 hours, split up over a week).
We are using the bottom cabinets for blankets and a bucket of toys and have to figure out how to make the top part functional. And do you see the legs on this? Love them too!
