you remember my dollar store spring vignette? Well, of course I had to change it up a bit for fall:
My Dollar Tree doesn’t sell this size of frame ^ anymore and I’m so sad I didn’t buy 20. I did have an extra though, so I just darkened it with some leftover stain and followed the same process of printing it out and then taking it to the copy shop to enlarge it to an 11X17. {see here}
this is a real nest that was abandoned when all the construction was going on down in the basement. We filled it with mini pumpkins I’ve had for a few years from Target clearance. I couldn’t find any little white pumpkins for the life of me, so I spray painted some orange ones heirloom white.
Great vignette. Love your sign and the saying is wonderful. The wire stand with the pumpkins and the children's picture is fabulous. I also really like the little box with the nest and pumpkins. Just enough and not too much. Gorgeous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteI missed the whole dollar aisle at Michael's last night when I was there. I realized it after I got home and I was so made at myself. I was so consumed with the other stuff I bought and I really only went in there for one thing! I'll have to go back because I really like those letter balls you got. They have ceramic ones at Pier 1 and I think they are pretty expensive for one ball, so forget them.
ReplyDeleteIt is all just precious! :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks great. Love your spring vignette as well!

How do you come up with this stuff??!! It looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love your little makeovers. I love the way you share the little tiny details with us. I love the way you find wonderful bargains that you put together in creative ways.
ReplyDeleteOh, and by the way. . .
I love YOU.
Me again. . . just for fun. . .
ReplyDeleteYou know the work of this poet:
The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.
Emily Dickinson! love it :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been disappointed in any of your vignettes! Lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou always have such lovely vignettes!! The frame with your girls is adorable, and I love the idea of filling a nest with mini pumpkins. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute !! You really do have such a great talent of creating wonderful vignettes !! *Becca*
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of the art..it looks great!
ReplyDelete(I've got another free printable on my blog today!)
It all looks great. Wonderful sign...great vignette.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I love all the little details!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so cute! I love the sign. Such a great idea. Those tiny little pumpkins are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the box looks with the pumpkins and the nest---the colors look great together!
ReplyDeleteLove the whole look! I especially like how you incorporated the nest. I love nests, but have only used them (artificial) ones in spring. Love the idea of using them with other seasons as well. Do you have to do anything to a real nest before bringing it into your home? You know, making sure it's free of any potential tiny critters??? Thanks for sharing . . . great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love that quote!!!
ReplyDeleteWill you come and do my house for Thanksgiving and Christmas? Please!
See, I knew the Heirloom White would work on pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty scene!
I love the letter balls that you got on clearance. They're very cute!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI think I have the very same cake pedestal but I never use mine since I can never figure out what to do with it. Your display is perfect. You've inspired me to dig mine out and play with it. Thanks!
I personally don't celebrate Halloween, but when those parts come out for Thanksgiving, I'll love it! :-) I'll be interested to see how you change it out. I love the box, too.
ReplyDeleteI also loved your Spring vignette. Thanks for sharing how you did the printing of the sayings, too.
And Richella--thanks for the Dickinson!
Happy Thursday!

ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely! I got some of those letters, but I chose our initials. I should have gotten Boo as well!
