I’m late! For some reason, I had Nester’s party marked for Wednesday, but it was Monday. So, I’m barging in 2 days late :)
I just put some pinecones and lights in a tray, added a moss tree and some Texas snow (real cotton!)
the scarf on the pendulum reindeer was Nester inspired, as were the lights in the lantern. My lights and white berries were from a yard sale for $1 each. One of my favorite things!
the reindeer used to look like this:
from my mom! we all love it. just gave him a fresh coat of white.
we have our nativity on top of the piano…my mom gave it to me about 8 years ago and I love the
sweetness and simplicity of it.
paper whites in the kitchen. my first year growing them…I never knew how easy they were! Do you see what I get to work on after Christmas? the kitchen!! I’m half excited/half dreading it.
My post was way long, so I split it up and will post the rest tomorrow for Julia’s Holiday House Tour. Thanks for stopping by!
You have such a beautiful home - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous home you have. It looks like Pottery Barn! So beautiful!
ReplyDeletePaper-whites are my very favorite flower in the whole wide world! People either love the scent or absolutely hate it. (I love!)
ReplyDeleteYour home is lovely and your decor looks natural and effortlessly beautiful.
I love your home and your blog, Melissa. Really loving that chalkboard. Can't wait to see what you do with your kitchen! Have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the chalkboard with the names of Jesus. :) That last vignette is so pretty. Your home is beautifully decorated for Christmas, Melissa!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Everything looks so beautiful! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh, goody! I was hoping you were going to give us a tour!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks just beautiful, and so much like HOME. It's amazing what you've done to your house in just a few short months! And won't it be fun to see what you do with your kitchen??
Now I'm hearing strains from The Messiah in my head. . . "And His name shall be called. . . Wonderful Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. . . ." That's a good thing for me to carry around in my mind!
I love all your vignettes Melissa! That corner in your kitchen looks like it will be a great spot to display things all year. Love the reindeer white and his little scarf. What a great little sled in your living room display. I have a tray similar in size and I wish I'd thought to decorate it as you did.
ReplyDeleteIt looks SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! Did you make those cranberry balls on that white table? If so, are they real cranberries? I have been debating about making my mom either a moss tree or a little cranberry tree as part of her gift...thanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteSo festive homey and pretty, Melissa!!
