It’s here a day early because my kids are out Fri-Mon for a little spring break, so we get to spend a long Easter weekend together. I’m excited to announce that next week I’m going to do a series on “putting it all together” ~ my thought process when I tackle a space in my home. I’ll take you step by step and you know I have no professional background, so it could be pretty humorous as well…
On Friday, you’ll be able to link up a space you’ve created that you love!

Have you noticed my blog’s new look? My husband was out of town for a few nights last week, so I stayed up ridiculously late reading tutorials, trying different layouts, trying to streamline it and tweak it. If you click on my credits button up there below my header, you can see what I used. I need to add a FAQ button and paint colors in my home, and have a survey about 320 Sycamore I would love for you all to take, but that will all come sometime hopefully sooner than later.

Great site! Love coming back here for your links and all your ideas. Looking forward to your new series. I'm off from work for the kiddos Spring break this week so I will actually have some time to hop over here and enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa -
ReplyDeleteThank youf for including my curtain tutorial in this great post!
SO excited to read your new series! I think that's a fabulous idea. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the new series! Hope you have a Blessed Easter weekend!!
ReplyDeleteAww...thank you Melissa for the feature! You are so sweet! I'm so glad we got to meet in Nashville!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your new look! So easy to navigate!
ReplyDeleteAnd you know...about that fake show thing...I think ALL those shows home shows are fake! The ones that scare me the most are when they come and in and redo things...because you know the painting, all the fixes, are SO cheaply and quickly done, that the minute the TV crew leaves, everything falls apart. I just imagine the messy paint lines everywhere, the quicky construction jobs, and patching look AWFUL in real life!
I just have to say (again) that I love your blog. It's so honest and down-to-earth and you really have such talent and creativity! I'm looking forward to the new series!
