Look what a reader Jackie and her son, Thomas created for his room!

I bought a large canvas and painted it black. Covered it with mod podge and then some wall decals I got a great deal on online. Another layer of mod podge and some battery operated led tiny Christmas lights with a 6 HR timer. Used a tiny screwdriver to make the holes in the canvas and secured the lights in the back with electrical tape. We are both thrilled with how it turned out! It's quite big at 4 ft across and really makes the room! I love checking on him before I turn in for the night (it's on from 5-11 pm) and see him sleeping under "the stars".
