Favorite Things 2024: my friend Christie!

18 November 2024

Welcome to Favorite Things 2024! Don't you love to see behind the scenes of women to see what they would recommend with no agenda, they are not trying to promote anything, this is just what they love?? ♥ I was talking to some friends and asked who would be good to invite to share favorite things and Christie (today!) and Lonnie (tomorrow!) were both recommended and they both agreed! This will be so much fun. We'll finish off the week with some favs from my sisters and a few from me. Enjoy!

This was an easy yes when Melissa asked if I would be willing to share my favorite things on her blog. I thrive on the items my friends, family, and social media have shared with me. I’m a stay-at-home mom of 5 children and love when items make my life easier.

Family:

My little kids start their day with Mary Ruths vitamins because they taste great and it’s like a little reward while getting your vitamins.

Everyone has a Waterpik and I strongly encourage it because I loathe paying for cavities

Our favorite game lately is Monopoly super electronic game. It’s amazing because it takes out the math and ends the game when all properties are bought.

Home:

It’s quite surprising that I don’t have a massive list. I love my home and love it more when it’s clean.  I love my Dupray Neat Steamer it’s easy to use and gives me comfort when things are sterilized.

I spray my countertops daily with Force of Nature - it’s a toxin-free cleaner plus it’s fun to watch it fizz.

I was gifted the Skoy scrubber or a similar one and it’s a must. I throw it in my dishwasher and it NEVER STINKS

I am a huge online shopper and I can’t live without my slice mini. I have little kids who like to help open boxes and it puts my mind at ease that they won’t slice their finger.

I recently walked into Crate and Barrell and fell in love with their new soap line Sea Salt + Citron

Body Care:

My new skincare product is Tallow. I have very sensitive skin and by far the best recommendation ever. I think it even helps with my skin spots.

I also live by Osea face oil, the hyaluronic sea serum, and the atmosphere protection cream for my face and I promise if you try it you’ll love it too.

After getting a massage years ago the therapist told me not to shower off the oil and was like say what?? She said our body makes oil so it’s natural and most body lotions have alcohol that dries out the skin. It took me a minute to get used to but I swear by it. I’ve converted my husband and children to using body oil.

I am a lipgloss hoarder! Some of my favorites are the Revlon Super Lustrous in Pink Sky, NYX butter gloss in angel food cake color, and the Revlon Kiss in Fresh Strawberry

This last product I don’t have anyone sold on it besides maybe my husband is my toothpaste. I had my dental cleaning this week and even the hygienist commented on how clean my teeth are. If you are not following Just Ingredients start today. LIFE CHANGING

Clothing:

I’ve definitely embraced the comfy stage of life and have spent a small fortune on Alo sweatsuits. Accolade is my favorite!

If you know me you know I am also a huge fan of Birkenstocks - they make my feet feel so good.

When I’m home I’m in my UGG Slippers

I get so excited for the night to end and I can get into my Spa Robe from Boca Terry.

Last but not least my favorite jewelry pieces are from Gorjana here and also this necklace

Enjoy, Christie
