In the lamp section at Lowes they have medium holiday lampshades (these would fit all of my lamps in my living room) on sale for $5.98, which is a great deal, BUT…their holiday clearance is 50%, so my nice cashier gave me them for $3 each. I bet you could talk yours into half price as well.
Just remove the holiday ribbon, and you’ve got yourself a new shade to work with! Isn’t that the most expensive part of getting lamps at thrift stores: buying new shades?
I stocked up.
You can call your store and ask them if they have any item # 0362226 in stock.
Good luck!!
It’s the end of the year, which means it’s time for Rhoda’s Top Projects Party!

One of my favorite Christmas hymns~
I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
I thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along the unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
And in despair I bowed my head:
"There is no peace on earth," I said,
"For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men."
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
"God is not dead, nor doth he sleep;
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail,
With peace on earth, good will to men."
Till, ringing singing, on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime,
Of peace on earth, good will to men!
