Let me remind you why we love these so much: We got each of our kids one of these for their rooms and we have the larger Amazon Echo in the kitchen, but you could use an Echo as a home base as well. We don’t allow phones/devices into bedrooms so this is a way they can listen to music (we have Amazon Music family plan), use it as an alarm, I set reminders for myself all the time (Alexa, remind me to call my Grandma on her birthday or pick up Logan at 4 p.m.), set timers, ask how many Tbs in 1/4 cup, tell me the news of the day, tell us a joke, AND did you know you can connect them all and use them as an intercom or have the option play the same music on all of the echo dots?? We were wishing that we had installed an intercom system in the house so we didn’t have to yell (so much) and this has been our answer – I can say “Alexa, drop in on Hailey’s room” and it goes right to her Echo Dot and I tell her to get her buns upstairs, we’re late, or talk to all Echos at the same time! Highly recommended from our house!

Really, I should just call this post Michael’s wins for Christmas decor! This is NOT a sponsored post, I just happen to LOVE so many things they have this year so this post is mostly Michael’s and we’ll throw in a few Dollar Tree and Target finds!! Some things are online and I will link to them, if they don’t have a link they are probably only in store. My purpose is to help you know whether you need to leave your house or not to get these! Ha! And, because they sell out so fast, trying to get them to you ASAP.
Here we go – these are all phone pics and I’m not editing them. The prices are with the 40% off because I think they will be at least that.
This sign is HUGE! and I thought super reasonably priced at $30

My Target was just barely pulling out the Dollar Spot – I was most excited about the little jar placecard holders, the ceramic white houses (they brought out metal houses after I took the pic!), the bottle brush trees! And really, really cute stocking holders for only $3! Be watching your store! They go so fast around here.
Hearth & Hand (Magnolia – Chip & Jo!) also came out with their holiday line!
