Dollar Tree supplies online

17 November 2009

Hello everyone! Many of you have been saying your Dollar Trees are out of the supplies~ I just wanted to let you know that now you can get the hurricanes

usually in cases but some let you get less and may be able to get them shipped for free to the store or pay to have them shipped to your home. Good luck! Have you ever gotten out of the dollar store spending only $1??

  1. It can be done!

To be fair, though, I was only replacing a bag of ornaments my doggie thought were toys for her!

  4. Your glass hurricane idea is brilliant Melissa! In Canada, we have a Dollar Store (same idea) but I have never seen anything like your hurricane glass jars in there :-). And no, I have NEVER walked out after just spending a dollar ~ don't think it can be done! Looking forward to tomorrow's party.

  6. Spend $1! HaHaHaHa!

I'm lucky if I make it out of there under $20 - to be fair though I only go once every couple of months.

Love your idea, may have to make my own.

Need a little help. I bought these for presents and used hot glue, to attach the base to the hurricane glass.  I checked them 24 hours later and each based popped off. They did not adhere at all.  Did anyone else have this problem or is there another product to use. I feel I must have not done it right.

Hi Laura~ if you read in the original post and comments http://www.320sycamoreblog.com/2009/11/dollar-store-version-of-ws-glass.htmlwe recommended e6000 if hot glue doesn't work. Good luck!

  13. I can't find the candles.  I would have thought this would have been the easiest of the three items to find, but apparently it's not for me.  Any suggestions?

I bought the lamp at Dollar Tree, but the candle at Family Dollar and it is taller than the lamp is.  The candle is 8 in.  How tall should the lamp be?
