  1. So true.  Internet Surfing and "Pinterest-ing" are time and "life" stealers for me.  Love so many of your thoughtful quotes! :)

  2. That is so true!  Sometimes when I find badly treated toys (especially shortly after birthdays)  I translate the cost into the amount of time that I spent working to pay for that item.  I may say something like "To buy those toys I was away from you for 6 hours.  That was a whole evening I didn't get to see you or your brother and sister.  When you don't treat those things nicely.  It makes me feel like you didn't care that we were apart, or that I had to work hard to give you gifts."  I work a part time job a few evenings a week so that my husband can work a lower paying job doing something he loves, so it is very easy for me to calculate how many hours everything costs. My children would much rather me be home so when explaining this I make sure the culprit knows that EVERYONE was without me for those hours as a sacrifice to provide those items.

Thank you, Kimberly! I (and my family) honestly need to think more like that...

  4. I LOVE all of your quotes...this one especially.

I love decoupaged things! This was a great idea.

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a note!
