stripe duvet covers = striped curtains

Sooo, speaking of curtains from tablecloths, how about curtains from duvet covers?? My sister Kelsey (here and here) got this awesome idea from her, sister-in-law Heather. (Remember Heather? She did the front door monogram bucket!) These girls have great taste.

She used the stripe duvet cover from Target and made her own horizontal striped curtains out of it! I thought it was brilliant, AND they are on clearance in stores and online right now, so I picked some up, you know…so I can try it out if I want to on an upcoming project. Just wanted to give you heads up before they are all gone. I got king size so I can have extra tall curtains. Thanks, Kels and Heather!
