Teenage Girl Room

02 March 2017

Hello! I’m finally making it downstairs to my girls’ rooms. In February we were working on Lauren’s room, we here we go. I was at the local hardware store one morning and they were clearancing out all of their Devine paint for 75% off, so we bought 2 gallons of the almond color for $30 total. It’s a beautiful blue green color that shows up more blue in these pictures.

We need to talk about the painting. I had originally bought it at the thrift store for $8 to make it into a chalkboard but Lauren loved it and wanted it in her room. So we kind of went around that.

The bedspread is from TJ Maxx and the pillows are from Ross. The blue lamps used to be on our piano in our Virginia home.

These black frames with mats were at the thrift store for $1.50 each. I just had her choose a favorite picture and quotes to fill them with.

This desk has been with us since Texas (in our laundry room!) and has been perfect for my book lover.

We found the curtains at TJ Maxx – they are Tommy Hilfiger and were only $17.99/panel

The white chandelier also came with us across country:

and so did the dresser. It’s nice and chippy but I think that adds to the charm now

The headboard was $67 from Amazon, pillows are from Ross and the bedspread was from TJ Maxx.

The cool vintage eagle mirror was from my Grandma’s house and the jewelry hanger was from Aeropostale from a CME + Deals a long way back

And that’s it! It’s simple but that’s the way she wanted it :) We’re moving to Hailey’s room next!
