inspiration from you

23 December 2009

I love emails saying, "I was inspired by something you did..." They make my day and I wanted to share some with you. Some have blogs and some don't and sent pictures, but thank you all for sharing them with us!

I love Tidymom's dollar store decor:

Kristen sent me these before and after pictures of her first house~she used our bath as an inspiration:
before

after

Jessica's Dollar Tree candy sticks

Camie Rae made a beautiful Thanksgiving centerpiece

I love the cranberries Sherri used

Look at all the different versions Carli came up with ^

Heather sent me this picture of a cake stand she made from a candlestick and a glass plate from the $ Tree

Mom of Two Boys (MOTB) used some fake snow and glitter snowflakes

Thrifty Rambler's autumn version

Marie found all of her supplies at the Dollar Tree for these beautiful votives

Sara used epsom salt and tealights. Love this idea!
Are y'all ready for Christmas?? :) Oh, and yes, obviously we made it through the storm and are safe and sound at Grandma and Grandpas. We're loving this winter wonderland now that we're not traveling in it.
Have a great day~

  1. I think I need to make a trip to our new Dollar Tree! I made a couple of the candle stick hurricane globes from things I already had in my home. I love the way they look and I want more of them, especially after seeing these pictures!

  13. What a SWEET Christmas gift! to see myself here. I've been rushing around with family functions, helping a friend who's father got admitted to the hospital just days before Christmas and finishing up last minute crafty gifts. So I have missed a LOT in blog land. Scrolling through and trying to catch up a bit today. Thanks so much Melissa!
