I got to see my mom this last weekend~my husband got me a plane ticket for my birthday to see my sister and her new baby and my mom drove down to meet us. More on that later! This is what I did for some little gifts for late mother’s day and early birthday presents:
Some of her favorite quotes in dollar store and clearance Target frames
I also ironed on this little Mom to the 7th power onto a plain, gray hoodie. I used the same technique as I did here.
Why to the 7? She raised 7 of us! This is the last pic I have of us all together at my sister’s wedding (I’m #2)
Meet my brothers and sisters: Nicholas, Kerri, Christopher, Kelsey, brother in law David, me, Michael, and Kristin. Girls won by one.
Gifts don’t have to be expensive…a little thought, a little spray paint, an iron, you’re good to go :)
Happy Tuesday~
Great gifts for mom! What a beautiful family picture. Your sisters wedding gown and bouquet are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteThese are the best type of gifts to receive! I'm sure they'll treasure not only the gifts, but your time and talent in creating such gifts. Lovely family photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good looking group you are! What a nice picture of you all together. Great idea for the frames; I have that top one and it is sitting empty waiting for something to fill it. I think a quote is a good idea.

ReplyDeleteYour sister's dress is beautiful! Do you mind sharing who the designer was or where she got it? I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT and would love to have a similar design for myself. My wedding is next year, and I am just starting to look for dresses. THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteHi Megan~
ReplyDeleteI asked her and she said: "I got it at Alyssa's Bridal in Provo. But that was 4 years ago, so I don't know if they will still have it."
I hope that helps!
