One of my favorite little shops we went into while I was visiting my family in Utah was Dear Lizziein Highland. Pure loveliness. I just wanted to lay down right here:
I snapped a few more photos~I especially love what they did with some of their frames. How easy would this be?
Love teh frames. Thanks for sharing! Beautiful little shop! Also love your chore card idea. I have 1 more week before school is out. I have got to get a system up and running before the first day of summer. Great ideas! Have a great day!
This makes me miss you! What a fun time - I'm glad you posted the picture of the lamp. I am loving mine more and more everyday and can't wait to get started on it - if I ever make the time. Love all the other posts and I am stealing that picture you posted of Madison. So cute!
Those frames with ribbons are all the rage right now. I saw one at a local Christmas boutique and decided to make my own. I used a $1 frame from the craft store and painted it white. Then I made a bow with an opaquey looking white ribbon with sheer looking white polka dots. Topped it with a "diamond" pin in the shape of a "D" for my sister's new monogram. It looked fab!!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who takes pics of cute boutiques and stores for ideas!!! I have a pic of that frame w/ ribbon too and have it stored in my camera right now til things slow down to do a project :)
Lovely shop!! Very shabby chic..everything seems so precious :D

love the lamp and clock!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! The ribbon/brooch frames remind me of a DIY project that Chris at Just a Girl shared awhile back.

What a great place! I'll bet you could do those frames with the bows and embellishments. I think I saw floating frames at the Dollar Tree, too.

ReplyDeleteI live close to Dear Lizzie, and while I LOVE the store, sadly I can not afford anything there, other than the wonderful sugar cookies.
ReplyDeleteIt did inspire me:) Beautiful.
ReplyDeletereally love the frames! great inspiration for a wonderfully personal gift!
ReplyDeletesuperpaige~they are a bit pricey. I loved just walking around though and thinking...hey, I could do that! :)
ReplyDeleteOh and so much more greatness. I feel like my mind will explode from trying to remember things I could make. I do want to just live there.

ReplyDeleteIsn't that the greatest store? I don't do sparkly glitter ANYTHING, but I LOVE going to that store to look around - and the food is delish too!
ReplyDeleteIf you were at Dear Lizzie then you were literally minutes away from my house.
ReplyDeleteHow come you didn't come visit? :)
