I started looking around and saw yellow tags everywhere. Most were 75% off. Luckily, I had my camera, so I began snapping away. Here are the pics of the mirrors my store still had in stock, with the prices and item numbers below. If you don’t want to go traipsing off to your Lowes only to find there are none left, or they are not doing the clearance {and you want to ring my not-so-little-neck} call your store, give them a few item numbers from below and ask if they have any in stock and how much they are.
Gorgeous and heavy! ^ I didn’t get a close-up of the tag, but here is the info: Allen + Roth Antique Pewter Oval Mirror Item # 0313028
These mantle mirrors are huge!! 36X46 inches. There were 2 styles that were 24.97, my store only had the silver left.
Remember:
* You can ask them to take the display down if there are no more left.
*You can also have them check other stores’ stock that may be close to you or a friend/relative.
*The power of paint! Don’t like the finish on the frames? Think of them in a new color and you could give them a whole new look.
*most of these are huge and would be great to replace boring builder grade mirrors.
*at my store, there are 2 mirror sections. These aren’t the bathroom vanity mirrors, but were in the decor section near the curtains.
Good luck. May the mirror clearance force be with you.
*** although I heart Lowes, sadly I am not getting any compensation for this post. You know I love a good deal.
well shucks i was there last night never went down that isle!!
ReplyDeleteYou know the song "I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it" well I'm singing it right now, because yup I so need a mirror, thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous sales. I love mirrors, just don't have anymore walls. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeletethis is a great tip. I just spent $50 at Home Goods on one for my mantle. I think I may head to Lowe's to see if I can do better than that. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't get better than that! Feel free to link up to our Favorite Things Friday party today at the Antique Texan. Enjoy your new mirror!

Thanks for the tip! I will have to check out what else has been marked down at Lowe's this weekend!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Will have to check out our local Lowes stores.
ReplyDeleteMary Ellen

ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to go! Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!Who knew...I was just there last week.
ReplyDeleteThose are some crazy bargains!!! I looove the ornate one that was marked down to $12.47. Wow!
ReplyDeleteSome of those prices are crazy, Melissa! I love the first square ones you've pictured for $5. and $6.00. I could really use a floor length one because I have to use the closet doors in my son's room when I really want to see how shoes go with an outfit.
ReplyDeleteWow i am so checking my Lowes!
ReplyDeleteOh man! I've been looking for something to fill a space above my dining room cabinet. Thank you so much! I just returned from a quick trip to Lowe's and found a 20x20 with a beautiful frame....only 9.99. What a deal! Thank you thank you thank you...did I say thank you?
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for the tip! I went over my lunch hour and found the New Orleans mirror for $9 and another larger one for $17, two mirrors for under $30 that would have been over $100 if I paid full price! I may even check out a second store! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteOooh. awesome tip!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! I'm heading out right now.
ReplyDeleteEmily & emily: so glad you scored! congrats :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny, I was just there and saw these mirror and said to myself, I should blog about this and then forgot! Thanks for doing it for me :)
ReplyDeleteWow...thanks for the heads up. You are looking out for your buds and we thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip ... My hall is in desperate need of a mirror.
ReplyDeleteBummer! I LOVED that pewter all glass modern mirror. I just called my lowes to find out that they are not marked down. Not willing to pay $90! I'm going to have to keep an eye on that one.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this. I found the copper 36x46 inch mantle mirror for $24.97, plus I had a 10% off coupon, making my total $24.33 after tax. :) We've seriously been trying to find a mirror to go above our fireplace that would match our screen for over a year and this one is perfect! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteWell shucks! I'm dialing my local Lowe's right now to see if the same sale is going on there. Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!!!! I just went to Lowes early this morning and bought 5 mirrors!! I only spent $65.00:) We are just starting a huge painting and redecorating project in our house. These mirrors are just what we needed!
ReplyDeleteI would have never known about the sale if you had not posted about it!
Renea
Where are my keys??????????
ReplyDelete*runs to car*
Thanks for the heads up! I'm about to start doing a loooong overdue bathroom project and I'm going to need to replace the mirror.
ReplyDeleteSo I was totally reading back a couple of posts about your basement and the faux built-ins (genius btw) and I remembered that you were taking suggestions about what to put between the two sets of 123's and ABC's over a door or something ... just curious what you decided to put there - I think a lot of people suggested a clock... can't remembered what I suggested... Anyways, what did you pick?
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend, The Lady
OMKG! I'm totally going to Lowes tonight! I've been looking for a mirror for above my mantel. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH! Thank you SOOOO MUCH for posting this! I have had a plan to do my narrow dark hallway with all mirrors on both sides. Just finished painting glossy white and just started looking at the junk shops for mirrors. They are hard to come by...
ReplyDeleteJust got back from Lowe's #4 and between the 4 of them I got 7 mirrors all different. They should work FABULOUSLY down my hallway! I spent less than $100 for the 7 and the most I spent was $22.48.
Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you, lol!!
Hey! This is so great! Thank you so much!! I called on that big mantle mirror that you had a picture of being $24.97, and at MY Lowes- it was ONLY $16.00!!!!! CRAZY! All I did was give them the item number! You rock!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat just ain't right. Our Lowe's NEVER has any sort of good sales. Our store typically has one shelf in the middle of the store and it has a few blinds that might have some minor damage. Maybe a lamp that's missing a shade... etc. But nothing THAT good!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous!
Thankyou! Thankyou! I was able to buy both of the mirrors in your first picture at the same clearance prices. I was so glad for the tip to ask to buy the display, they were the last two! By the way, I just want to mention how much I enjoy reading your blog. You have so many great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI went today!!! Thank you for the tip. I was so hoping for the beaded one to be available and it was there. I got the display one and 2 of the square ones, also the oval wrought iron(but plastic) one. I bought a spray can of Rustoleum Titanium Silver and went home and got busy! I will try and get my before and afters posted soon. Thanks again for the heads up!
ReplyDeletethank you SO much for posting this!!! I scored some amazing deals, and 4 of the mirrors I took home were the displays so that tip def. came in handy! the only thing that could have made my outing any more successful was if i had scored the pewter beaded mirror - there was only the sample left and a corner was cracked, boo :( but still a very successful trip!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks for the tip. I could use a BIG mirror in my LR.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this! After reading I loaded up the kids and ran to lowes. I bought the black oval mirror for my bathroom. I was hoping for one in white, but unfortunately it wasn't marked down so I may be doing some spray paint magic.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!!!!!!! As soon as I saw your post about the sale, I headed over to my Lowe's. Sure enough....there they were....mirrors on clearance. There weren't many left, but I did manage to find 5 great deals (if you count the fact I got the display mirrors too! :-)) They were reduced even further when I got them to the register. Again, thank you so much. I am sooo excited over my mirrors, even though I plan to use just the frames from the mirrors.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What great prices Melissa! The last one for $12.47 would look fantastic in my itty bitty powder room. I should re do that builders grade mirror and hang this one instead. Did you see that recent post of mine? Thanks for showing us the sale prices.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
~Melissa :)
Thank you! I love your blog, always.
ReplyDeleteI had to drive past two Lowe's to get to the one that had any mirrors left, but boy was it worth it. I can't believe how BIG that mantle mirror is, and for 25 dollars. Amazing. I also grabbed the pewter oval mirror for 12, I was thinking of replacing it in my bathroom but now I'm too selfish and I'll want to keep it with me if we ever move so I'm not sure what I'm doing with it now! It's gorgeous though. Thank you.
Thank you for posting your finds! I got 2 gorgeous mirrors (1 each at 2 different stores), one for $15 and the other for $17!! My husband is not so happy, guess what he's doing this weekend?!? Hanging new mirrors lol.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!!

SO glad so many were able to find cheap mirrors!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on these mirrors! I went to my Lowe's yesterday and got the last oval off the wall for $14.00 out the door! I'd been waiting to find something to go over the buffet in the dining room...presto! =)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for spreading the word. I ran down to my Lowe's and got 2 antiqued black mantle mirrors for 24.97 each, one for me and one for a friend. Such a deal! My entry, and my friend's mantle thank you!!!
