A mailbox (2.95-Goodwill) I thought this would be so fun to brighten up and add to the playroom. And some brand new down pillow forms ($3-neighbor’s yard sale) Hold on to your hats, I may actually sew something. We’ll see… Cute shoes…never been worn (neighbor’s yard sale $1.50)
A big old, long art print. It’s huge and I’ve got a plan, but I’m nervous to see if it works ($6.95—Goodwill) A sassy, brassy lamp ($6—thrift store)
Restoration Hardware pewter number ($1—thrift store)
A basket to use as a trash ($1—thrift store)
Some new light shades for our bathroom that eventually we’ll give a facelift (.75 each—thrift store)
A big tin of yellow something… ($2.95—thrift store)
Total for the month: $26.60
As you can see, some of my neighbors had a yard sale and I also got some fun furniture finds for my living room upstairs..hopefully I’ll be showing them soon…
I’m joining Rhoda’s party…come on over to share your thrifty finds!
Happy Monday~
Ooohh, I want to see what you do with the large print. At that price, it's worth taking a risk.
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time finding things at the thrift stores. I guess I don't have the eye for thrifting. Can't wait to see what you do with it all.

ReplyDeleteHi, my friend! You got some great things. It's so much fun to find things out there that you would buy anyway, for way cheaper. Thanks for coming by today. :)

ReplyDeleteThese are all great finds! I would love to see what you'd do to the brass lamp. I have one similar to it and I would love to update its look.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, Melissa! You've reminded me that I have some pillow forms that could use some fabric around them, plus some old ones I want to redo. Love that tin container ~ perfect wall or door hanging piece.
ReplyDeleteWe ventured into Goodwill for the first time this weekend and left with an AMAZING dresser/buffet. I am officially addicted :0)

ReplyDeleteLove your finds! I haven't had too much luck lately. I'm curious to see what you do with the large framed print. I have a couple in my garage right now. I had a few ideas, but am not quite "feeling" it right now. Some days things click on what to do with your finds and sometimes they don't! :)
ReplyDeleteBTW, if you don't like those shoes, send them my way. They're even my size!
