2. Are your costumes all ready? If they’re not, it’s all good. I saw this link to Parents Magazine on A Bushel and a Peck of Fun and they have some fantastic no-sew ideas.
3. I cannot tell you how much I love this idea of a one line a day memory book that Camille @ Simplify shared. I try to write down cute things my kids say on magnetic notepad on the fridge, but somehow the paper gets taken off, and then I try to safely stash it, and am sometimes successful, but I love this idea of having it in a simple book. One line a day….I so want to do this. I’ll let you know how it goes.

4. We also are in love with this video my sil Jamie took. What if you sneaked the video camera out during an ordinary lunch with your kids, turned on a good beat, and just recorded? Kids love watching stuff like this, especially when it’s them or their adorable cousins. It’s my tantrum diverter at the moment: “let’s go watch Lucy and Bobo!” :)
Have a great weekend~
Oh my word! Are those kids up for adoption?! LOL SO cute! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you got at Old Navy.
I was bee-bopping to that tune while watching this. They are too cute!
ReplyDeleteNow you have me craving a pumpkin shake. I don't think NC has them either. Grrr. I love the kiddos picking up the beat to Beiber! So adorable. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I love the lunch beats video - it actually had me laughing out loud. I am not a mother but one day will be. There are so many things to be scared of when thinking about having little ones but this video reminds me that all the scary parts will be worth it.
ReplyDeleteI love shakes! I need to stop by a McDonalds and see if they have it here. Also, I am loving the idea of "one line a day". I've attempted to keep a journal, but all those lines makes me feel like I have to write a long paragraphy. I like how it is broken down in this book! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin shakes are amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd say that you have future contestants for dancing with the stars! That was too cute, thanks so much for sharing it! Made my day.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried Pumpkin shakes, maybe I'll get brave...Love the video! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThose two are just too much! I think Bobo just taught me a couple of new dance moves...I wish I were joking.
ReplyDeleteLove the journal idea.....JUST ordered one…thanks for sharing the link! I use to be great about keeping a journal but can't seem to keep up with one now. Maybe a thought a day would help! What a great gift idea too! I like how she keeps her out so it’s in eye sight. Humm they may keep me from writing my true thoughts though. ;o)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to share her link on facebook in case anyone else wants to give it a try.
Uh those pumpkin shakes sound sinful! I'll have to see if we have them in Texas. :o)
Kendra aka "Domestic Princess in Training"
I think we'll be seeing Bobo on Dancing with the Stars someday. He's got a serious vibe going on there. :) So cute!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of pumpkin spice shakes, which is probably a good thing. I am a SUCKER for anything pumpkin. In these days of Halloween candy and my all-time favorite, candy corn, I don't one more temptation. I yield too much!!
Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL weekend!
oh my goodness, I love that video!
ReplyDeleteYou have a Bobo in the family?? That's what my girls call my sister. :)
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to see if our McDonalds have the pumpkin shake...probably not, but it's worth investigating! ;)
They are SO cute! I love that they started chair dancing as soon as the music started - same way I do haha
ReplyDeleteVery, very cute!! It made me smile!!
ReplyDeleteAny kind of shakes are good to me! The kids are so cute! I love that shoulder move at the beginning!! Now, I'm saying something about myself here (mainly that most of the music I listen to was recorded decades ago) but what was that song?
ReplyDeleteThat video is so adorable! Made me smile. :)
ReplyDelete1) no, I do not have pumpkin shakes in my area. What is WRONG? Why create so much wonderful deliciousness and not share it with the entire country?
ReplyDelete2) I love the rubik's cube costume! Those are great ideas - and I love that none of them are scary.

P.S. I'm hosting a Marc Jacobs jewelry give away - I hope you'll stop by! http://sfair.blogspot.com/2010/10/marc-jacobs-give-away.html
Yes we have Pumpkin Shakes AND they're in VA.! You're right... they're yummy.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat video was hilarious! And just think how precious it'll be in a couple years when she can hardly remember how little they used to be!
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago when my kids were much smaller we were sitting in the van at Sonic and What is Love? came on. I looked back and they were all bobbing their heads just like that SNL skit. I so wished I had a video camera!
Lucy and Bobo are REALLY REALLY cute!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that jellyfish costume! HYSTERICAL!
ReplyDeletemade the pumpkin shake last night...YUM! Will be making it for a ladies lunch this week!

Oh my gosh, this was my reality 8 years ago. It takes me right back when my girls were this age, and my little one would always be looking at her sister the same way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! It's amazing how you can forget these special random moments!
Thanks for posting about the One Line a Day book. I ordered two. One for my daughter away at college and one for her boyfriend. I thought it might be fun for them to do in their early days of dating.
