I don’t do Valentines decorations throughout the house, but we decided to dress up our hutch in the kitchen.
The balls were from Target clearance a few years ago, the LOVE bottle was Dept 56 I got with my mom about 5 years ago, the scrabble LOVE YOU was from last year, and the heart picks are from the Dollar Tree in a Goodwill vase:
The hearts are from the Dollar Tree picks, just pulled off. Nest is compliments of the birds outside our house (it was abandoned last spring) The mirror is from the $ Tree as well, I just popped the mirror out of the back, spray painted it cherry red and added some vinyl house numbers to the mirror. Valentine is worth 12 points and the letter holder is spray painted Krylon’s watermelon.
Inspired by Edie. The sparkly love is from Target $ Spot this year…
I’ve had this one forever…from Fred Meyer when we lived in the Avenues in Salt Lake. My girls were 3 and 1 when I bought this. *sigh*
Beautiful Beth from the Stories of A to Z is having a Valentine mantel/vignette party today…lots of red, white, pink, heart lusciousness over at her place!
Happy Monday~
So cute :0) The pops of red on your white hutch make for gorgeous eye candy. We dont normally decorate for Valentines Day, but I have seen so many cute ideas out there that I might have to change it up a bit next year!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for coming by my blog. I love a girl that decks out her hutch! I did a makeover on a old one and its my favorite piece. It looks so cute! I did some decorating for Valentine's, then decided I am not really a fan of most of the decorating I did. I like the idea of just having a little area and leaving the rest of the house alone. Great job, it is JUST enough. :)
ReplyDeletethat is a.maze.ing! love it..every stinking cute bit of it!
ReplyDeleteSO, so adorable. I love the Scrabble pieces...Evelin Nat made me crack up because my husband mixes up my Scrabble messages constantly. My "Santa" one said "Satan" for about a week until I noticed!
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring! :)
