Front Entryway: painted!

19 September 2011

Okay, let’s take one more look at the before: august 2011 033 1

And here is the after with the Glidden Olivewood paint on the wall in my entryway:august 2011 065 1

You know I’ve been itching to paint something yellow, so these chairs got a fresh coat of spray paint as well. The fabric is the same as the pillows in my living room. You can see how I makeover chairs here. They are a bright, happy spot~I love them!sept 2011 015 1

Now, about that dresser. I love it, but you can see in the above picture that it’s got some damage on the sides, so I’m going to be doing some repair and painting the bottom and staining the top. I know some of you just screamed, “Noooooooooooo!” but it’s going to happen, so I just wanted to prepare you… :)sept 2011 021 1I’m working on the gallery wall for this space as well…
I would describe Olivewood as a warm grayish, greenish, tiny bit of brownish soothing color.sept 2011 022 1 Paint never ceases to amaze me with how it can completely warm and transform a space.
