The color is Olive Grove from Magnolia Paints and I picked it up at our helpful, friendly Ace Hardware.
Do you want to see some houses with green front doors? Here are some favorites. Remember, most paint formulas are in the databases of major paint retailers that they can mix in their brand of paint.

Hooray for green doors! These all make me want to paint everything green. 💚
Since Farrow & Ball is based in England, I’m not going to have a store near me. So, I can go to color-swatches.com and go to their search feature. (under Our Services) and then type whatever paint brand I love into the “convert to another brand” section:
purge–verb (used with object)
1. to rid of whatever is impure or undesirable; cleanse; purify.
2. to rid, clear, or free
We have been purging. We took 3 of these loads to the Goodwill. It feels sooooo good. Originally, I was going to throw it all in the attic and bring it down for a spring yard sale. And I saw how much there was, and I thought of the sorting and the pricing, and I just wanted it out. Out of our house and away from me in case I changed my mind. I was just in one of those throw it out! I don’t care! moods, where everyone in your family is laying over their valuables to protect it from being thrown into the pile. (Except for my husband who was looking on with pure delight)
I’ll show you some pictures soon!

Last week, I was in Benjamin Moore talking painting kitchen cabinets and the guy suggested getting a quote on having it done professionally. He said it may not be as bad as you might think since it’s usually slower in the winter for painters.
So, we had one of the recommended painters come over and this morning he called with the quote and this is what I scribbled down:
Not going to happen. So, here they sit waiting for me to take them out of their state of oak.
I need a perfect white kitchen cabinet color. Not too white, not too cream…just a perfect creamy white. Suggestions?? I need to get going on this dreaded project….
Happy Monday~
