Okay, here are the beauty before shots:I *love* that my husband remembered to take pics before he started on the floor when I wasn’t even there. He is the best.

Hi, I'm visiting from Amanda's blog party. This bathroom is rocking my world! Love this transformation. It looks so calming, beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. It looks like a tiny little spa. Good things do come in small packages!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely wonderful! You (and your husband) did an amazing job! I can hardly believe it's the same room. Love the shelving and the window shade!

Only one word can describe your bathroom, GORGEOUS! What a transformation!
ReplyDeleteI love the color! Actually, I love it all, can't wait to hear all the details.
ReplyDeleteWow!!!! I think I'm in love with just about everything. All of the little finishing touches really make such a difference. Soooooooo nice!!!
ReplyDeleteI likey!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And look how much storage space you gained with those shelves - that is brilliant! The sink is to die for - love it all! Great job!
ReplyDeleteHello and thank you! It is fossil grey by Glidden.
ReplyDeleteHi Lindsey! If you use the Zinsser primer, you should have no problem painting over the laminate. Our vanity was all wood, but I have used it on laminate shelves, and it works great. I'm think that painting it all the same color of white will make it look upated and fresh. Good luck~let us know how it turns out! Go Hokies :)

SO very pretty. Bet you can't stop looking at it =) Adore the clean, crisp look and the new counter top is GORGEOUS!! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSimply...FABULOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!!!! Oh, Melissa, this post just warmed my heart. Your master bath is small, but it's probably about the same size as mine. And we have to share it with the 2 girls since the other full bath is on the 1st floor. I always get discouraged about how small and ugly it is. You did a wonderful job of showing that a small bathroom can be just as beautiful as those big spacious ones I see all over Pinterest. Bravo...you did an amazing job!!!
ReplyDeleteand wait!... is that a wood-look laminate flooring??? it looks really good if so...
ReplyDeleteOh Melissa. I'm so inspired. I think we have the same lay out. I am motivated to get after it like NOW.
ReplyDeleteit looks so good! i especially love the shelves above the toilet. they make it seem so much bigger in there than the vanity did.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, MELISSA! I love it!!! I love it so much!!! It is awesome. Great job. 3 top favorite things (in no particular order): wire magazine baskets, horizontal shelves instead of the wall cabinet, and the new sink/faucet duo. Wow, again! Can I come over and stand in the doorway and gaze at it (like i know you have been doing ever since you finished it... :-) -Angie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeletebeautiful makeover, Melissa!
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic, Melissa! I love, love the shelves and the cabinet painted. I see your magazine holder that you told us about a couple of weeks ago. I actually saw them after that and was standing in front of them pondering if I should get one. I didn't because I figured we really wouldn't use it so why spend the money. Can't wait to hear the details. I'm saving lots of these ideas for my daughter for her house. I love for her to know that she doesn't have to spend a lot to update things.

Gorgeous! Can you confirm- the cabinets are laminate wood? You just sand those down, prime, and paint? We have a similar sink/cabinet set-up and I am inspired but nervous! Our countertop is decent so I thought painting the cabinets is a great option.

We have a similar sink set up and I would love to paint it but I am worried about the idea of sanding it down since I don't think it's great quality. Our countertop is decent so I thought painting the bathroom and cabinets would work well. Thank you!!
