We have a tiny master bathroom, so I have to make every available inch count. I wanted a spot to put newspapers and magazines that didn’t take any room on the floor. I loved this double pocket from Ballard, but it was horizontal, and I needed vertical. And it was $60. Booooo.
But my friend, TJ was reading my mind to the Maxx, because look what I found last week for $15!
I printed off my own numbers onto white cardstock, (the years we were born, using Engravers MT font)and it was the perfect solution for our bathroom “office.” Love that TJ.
We’re trying to put the baseboards on and caulk, hang a few frames and we should be there! More to come…
Do you have an bathroom office? Perhaps you read newspapers and magazines in a more refined location?

Love these
ReplyDeleteCracks me up about your "friend" TJ!! Great Idea!!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at this post! In our house growing up, the bathroom was always referred to as "the office"... I love these baskets too. I think I'll have to check out my local TJ Maxx and see if they have them.
ReplyDeleteI might need to go see if our TJ Maxx has these, but I'm thinking for my kid's art area to hold paper and coloring books. (The art area happens to be in the bathroom because we have a two bedroom apartment with a huge bathroom. so, yeah, my kids paint in the bathroom. haha)
ReplyDeleteThat is the same one I found at TJ Maxx a couple of weeks ago, except mine is a three pocket! Love it. I don't have a bathroom office but I have thought about using the wall space more effectively, smart idea!!
ReplyDeleteOur Target had some here a week ago, too. Other type wire one's and loads of baskets ! I love the look of yours and they are so handy for all our paper work.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness gracious. I am now officially older than dirt. I married in 76 and my son was born in 77. Oh to be that young again.
ReplyDeleteI love this! Clever idea for the 'bathroom office'.
ReplyDeleteI love that you have Church News in your bathroom!! Cute idea. I hate when books and magazines get water stains from being in the bathroom too long!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. whatever works!!
ReplyDeleteCAN'T WAIT to see your master bathroom. I bet ours is smaller, and I am at a loss at what to do with the tiny space. Not the best space we have in the house!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I would love to have these in our bathrooms.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy, Melissa! I have a trip to TJ's planned to look for some new shams and maybe a quilt, but I may have to look around even more.
ReplyDeleteSaw those at TJ last week, too! I'm kicking myself for not picking one of the ones that was similar.
ReplyDeleteI bought one of those just this morning. How funny :) What excellent taste we have. ;)
ReplyDeleteI saw those at our local TJ Maxx, they are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLooks great!! I saw those at TJs and wasn't sure what I'd use it for- now I might have to go get one :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Ballard but sometimes can't bring myself to pay the prices. Saw these in TJ Maxx too but didn't think of them for the bathroom office...was thinking home office and because they don't go with my home office decor, I passed them by. We have a TINY master bathroom too (with tan tiles and gray fixtures!!???) so I'm looking forward to seeing what you've done with yours. We are long overdue for a master bedroom/bathroom remodel.
ReplyDeleteGreat score at a great price:) Love the look!!
ReplyDeleteYou just might, Kathy. I know it's going to be torture for you!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent indeed, Miss Anna! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe we have the same layout! Our master space is probably the thing we least liked about the house when we bought it, but we're just going to do our best to make it work..what else can we do besides adding on?
ReplyDeleteWell done, girl! Love those baskets--I think I like vertical better than horizontal! And I love your numbers. Although I'm trying not to think about how old I was when you were born. :)
