easiest silhouette pictures ever

31 October 2013

About 10 years ago, we went to Disneyland with our 2 girls. (I was pregnant with #3) We had the girls’ silhouettes drawn on Main Street and they were so sweet. To make a long story short, our stroller with everything in it was stolen including our camera and the silhouettes. It was awful! We haven’t made it back to Disneyland yet and I have been meaning to do the kids’ silhouettes ever since. I even left spaces on the gallery wall in our last home for them, but just haven’t gotten around to it. I’m working on a little entryway project and decided this is the perfect time! These are super easy, I don’t know why I didn’t do them earlier…
silhouettes

First, have your kids sit in front of a window and take a picture of their profile.sit in front of window

Then, print them out in black and white on white cardstockoctober 2013 022

Cut them out and touch up the edges with a black sharpie, or you could paint them black but mine were dark enough as is:cut them out, fill in with sharpie
Mount them on white cardstock and stick them in a frame (these are from the Dollar Tree)easy diy silhouettes
These are definitely Under $10 and Under 1 Hour. I’ll show you where I’m putting them next week, it’s a little entryway project! In the meantime, Happy Halloween!! I’m off to school parties and parades, the kids LOVE the excitement of this day. I’m wishing for lots of snickers almonds in their pails tonight…
