10 inexpensive ways to decorate for fall

13 September 2017

Here are some ideas to help you bring fall into your home without breaking the bank:

10. fill a vase or jug with tree leaves from Dear Lillie:

9. Be like a chipmunk and gather! I love this pinecone and acorn wreath from HGTV:

8. Fill a basket with pinecones – from Farmhouse 5540 on Instagram:

7. take a frame and hot glue some acorns to it:

6. be on the lookout for white branches – these came from a tree that lost a big branch in an autumn storm. Bundles of branches are great fillers in fall and winter.

5. make a wreath with picks from the dollar store:

4. dip leaves in wax and hang them in your window – from Clover Lane:

3. visit a cornfield and gather the tops of the cornstalks (corn tassels?) and make a wreath like All Things Thrifty:

2. Grab some branches and hot glue some candy corn on the tips:

1. make some cozy yarn balls. I just whipped these together this morning.

I got some wiffle balls and ping pong from the dollar store,

some yarn from Walmart and just wrapped them up.

They are great just to put in a basket or a tray and you can leave them up through the winter months as well. You could make a wreath as well! Wool = cozy to me.

The weather is supposed to finally turn cooler towards the end of this week, I’m itching to bust out the fall and Halloween decor!
