spring easter decorations * spring decorating ideas

20 March 2019

Bringing spring around the house doesn't have to break the bank or be complicated. Here are some ideas to get you going:

* Egg wreaths are classic! This is a quail wreath from a shop I ordered years ago, I haven't seen one again like it but you can buy quail eggs on Etsy and egg wreaths are everywhere.

* Bunny Plates! I shared my obsession with bunny plates last year. I've seen some on Amazon that are more like the price I paid for the Pottery Barn ones, but keep your eyes open at Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx, etc. for the $5.99 ones! They are so great to stick some greenery on

or use one to hold a nest to bring some instant spring cheer inside:

* Make a chalkboard sign or hang a light wood banner. This one was from the Target dollar spot a few seasons ago. A light burlap banner is also spring-y to me

*Put your letterboard to good use:

* Pink cake plates are always a good idea! Hearth & Hand is killing it this season with their pink milkglass collection

* Bunny pillows and greens (and another egg wreath) They had these adorable bunny pillows at Kirkland's this year. I also love putting some greenery in a white basket.

If you need solid color pillows, H&M Home is my favorite for $5.99 pillow covers! (I only have one bunny pillow but I thought the pink one looked lonely so I moved it over for the picture)

* The greens I can't stop talking about (Israeli ruscus -- look for it in your grocery store in a green bunch) are still going strong (3 weeks!) I think fresh greens instantly bring fresh in.

*in the kitchen: cutting boards, white pitchers, and green stems (these are still my favorite!)

 Are you ready for spring??
