Oh warm spring, where art thou? The kids are managing to have fun in the snow,

Sooooo, I had some appointments up in Charlottesville, VA and since I was all by myself, I made a few stops on the way up. I ♥ Virginia and make fun new discoveries in every town~I’m adding some to our summer bucket list to bring the kids back to. I just used my camera phone to snap away.
forgive my nerdly ways, but the Hobbit movie came out this week, and this is one of my favorites…
So, the weather isn’t really cooperating here, so we decided to take matters into our own hands and bring some spring inside.
I so wish that I could keep a straight hand for chalkboard lettering~maybe a level would help?? There is something soothing about coloring in chalkboard letters though…
My mom sent me this sweet picture of an easter egg hunt~I was 4 years old and my favorite part about it is my Dad’s plaid pants in the background!
