As of 9 a.m. eastern this morning, $714 has been contributed to their lemonade fund for the Joplin Tornado victims. Truly inspiring.
Lauren and Hailey have been sending out the recipes in the morning before school and at night~if you donated on Tuesday or Wednesday and haven’t received your lemonade recipe, please let me know and they will get it out. I’ve tried to let them take charge of this as much as possible and they have done great~they have quite the system going.
They will continue selling recipes through Friday, and then are going to close up shop. The donation button is still on the left sidebar (down a little bit)

They wanted to do something to help the Joplin tornado victims…so they came home from school today with a plan.
I always need to do a little, “d0-able” project when I’m beginning a huge project (like the kitchen!) to get me motivated. I thought this little nook above the desk in the kitchen would be a perfect start. I’m not sure what it was originally used for~cookbooks? canisters? holding a big old boombox?
