I used the leftover spray paint from my chair, attached a big old vintage gas station number (from Etsy) with some chunky screws,
Love this color combo! 7 is our lucky number :)
Oh, and P.S.! Friday is dress like a cow day at Chick-Fil-A! Last year:Everyone who dresses up like a cow gets a free meal. At our store in Texas, they let us choose any meal, with our choice of entree, side, and drink. We just wear white, cut out some black paper for spots, print out the ears from their website, and color some black noses. If you wear the cow headband, you get a free entree. Totally worth it!More info here.
Happy Wednesday~
Yours is always one of the first blogs I click to when I open my Dashboard, and for good reason! Love the pop of red against the turquoise. Looks awesome!

I was just going to ask about the Etsy seller where you got the number sign but I see it's already been asked and answered. Love the contrast of the colours. Very fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing! I agree with you too, that if something calls your name...you can't stop thinking about it...it's because it's worth doing something with.

Love the art! I have an old half door that I've been hanging on to, but no idea what I'd do with it. Now I know:).
ReplyDeleteI love that number sign!! If you don't mind, I may be stealing your idea...or a version of it. I have a picture that I absolutely love...taken at my gpa's farm. It's his old truck and I'm going to decorate our family room in those colors. You should check it out...kind of like the truck you saw. elirosephotography.blogspot.com. It may not be much to anyone else, but I love it!! Thanks for sharing your neat-o idea!!

Cute!!! There was a house down the hill from us doing a big remodel and a big dumpster sitting out on the road. Every time I drove past there was a turquoise cabinet sitting there. How I wanted those doors! But of course I was too shy to go over and ask for them. I finally got my courage up and the next time I passed by the cabinet was gone. Your door makes me wish I had grabbed them when I had the chance! So cute!!!

love the playroom art! all of you diy art pieces have totally inspired me. I have this really beautiful square postcard that I've been trying to think of a way to display. Rather than just buy a square frame for it, I went to hobby lobby the other day, found a plaque thing in the clearance art section and I'm going to glue the postcard on it. Much more put together but still super cheap :)
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea! love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa, I read each post and rarely comment, but I had to say thanks for the heads up on the Chick-fil-A offer. My husband and I dressed up (kids are grown) and had a fun time and a tasty meal.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog. Keep up the good work!
that pop of color..........adore it completely!
