easy fall - autumn wreath

16 September 2013

Hello! Are you sick of hearing from me every day yet? We are halfway through our every day September! Okay, I admit I’m scrambling some days when I don’t plan ahead, but it’s been good! I like the creative juices flowing again..
30 days september
Speaking of which, I wanted a fall wreath for our door on our rental, but didn’t want to spend a lot. Here is what I came up with:
fall wreath 320 sycamore

Start with a plain pine wreath (this one was left over from past Christmas’)
green pine wreath
These cute canvas banners were at Hob Lob (can we just stop for a minute and rejoice that I am near a Hobby Lobby again??? It’s been a painful separation…)

And get yourself some fat burlap ribbon, sept 2013 003

some pumpkin picks, and some leaves from previous autumn décor:pumpkins leaves
I wrote thankful on the canvas triangles and then unraveled some twine, twine sharpie canvas bunting
Strung it across the wreath, added the pumpkins and leaves, and hung it with a burlap ribbon.thankful banner on wreath
and we have an autumn wreath!
$5.40 pumpkins (.90 each after 40% off) + $2.50 burlap ribbon (50% off) + canvas banner ($2.39 after 40% off coupon) = $10.29.
Can we just say $10?

Because then I can put it in Under $10, Under 1 Hour.
Okay, thank you.
