olympic valentines – homemade valentine ideas

11 February 2014

Here are our Valentines this year, inspired by the Winter Olympics!go for the gold valetnine color

I did a quick design on picmonkey, then we just printed them off (free printables for you here-b&w or here are the color), cut them out – there are 4 per sheet,
crop

put a tiny bit of hot glue on the back of a Rolo candy, and round mint chocolate, and then attach the ribbon and gold chocolate coin with hot glue as well. We used about 5 inches of ribbon for each “medal.” For the gold coins, check the dollar store, party stores, and grocery stores that have bulk candy.

We’re going with the black and white because hey, printer ink is expensive. And they’re just as cute. Have them write their to and from on the back before you hot glue the candy. Just sayin.’

Are you loving the Olympics? The snowboard slopestyle makes me have butterflies – it’s so fun to watch.
Happy Valentine making! or buying – we are all about store bought Valentines too.

  2. Such a cute idea! I'm addicted to those Pearson's mint patties...I buy a bag at the store almost weekly. :)
