My Dollar Tree had pop rocks in stock. They come with 3 in a package and were still $1 at my store but that will probably change soon.
I made some free Valentine printables to go with them and put 9 on a page because I think the pop rocks packages at the Dollar Tree are smaller?
You can upload them to your favorite photo editing program and add a name and just print them out. I use PicMonkey,

Hello friends! I’m back from last week at our church girl’s camp and getting into the full swing of summer. Here is the patriotic porch for this year:
For the little corner display I printed off some patriotic portraits to add to the mix.
The picture I used of George is here and Abe is here
and then I just used two frames from the Dollar Tree.
Chalkboard with dollar spot stuff from last year, I wish they had more of the adorable buntings ♥
I also love the buntings that Pottery Barn had this year – these are the large and they are sold out, but it looks like they still have the medium for $35 with free shipping today! If you look closely you’ll see bird reflective tape above the door and window. We thought we had deterred our bird friends but this year some super ambitious ones were making nests out of the steel wool! *sigh* So far ( a month) the tape has worked, we’ll see if it lasts.
I’m getting in the patriotic mood! Happy Summer to you all ~
Hello friends! It is a dreary, rainy day here in Utah. I’m still taking down my Christmas – I don’t know why it’s taking so long this year for me? But I’m okay with it. Maybe I’m kind of basking in a slow January after a whirlwind December?
In the fall we were getting so many salespeople that I made this no soliciting sign to hang on my sidelight window. I just used a little command hook, a dollar store frame and some bakers twine.
I tried to be kind.
Here is a free printable for you to use! I printed mine in a 4X6 size
We’ll see if it works? Have a wonderful day~
Hello! Today I have a sweet simple gift idea with a printable to share. Just take a pair of fuzzy socks and chapstick and tie them together with some gum. You can find great deals on fuzzy socks everywhere – I got these at Ross but I’ve seen them at grocery stores, even the dollar store.
Burts Bees was a great deal at Sams Club making them $1.87 each. You can also get fun chapsticks at the checkout line at Walmart for $1.
And then just attach the printable.
You can also wrap them up to look like a cupcake. I used Every Day Savvy’s template here
Here is the color printable with 4 to a page – the cute wagoneer with the tree image is from Craftberry Bush
And here is the black and white with 4 to a page:
I hope it helps with your gift list – it’s a great gift for under $3. Think teenagers, co-workers, mail carriers, volunteers, neighbors, office staff, bus drivers, school workers. Also sharing deals of the day on Facebook!
Hello and happy February!
You can buy individually wrapped Twizzlers here and here and choose a printable to go with them.
Whatever one you choose, here are some fun printables I whipped up to go along with them.
Click here for the Yoda ones, 4 to a page
and click here for the heart ones, 4 to a page:
Just print them out on white cardstock, cut them out and attach the Twizzler with a dab of hot glue or some fun washi tape.
A whole $5 tub could set your family for Valentines! Or set out the tub at work or give to a special someone who loves licorice. ♥
I hope you enjoy them!
There is a great deal on Inkjoy pens at Amazon today – they end up being only $2 for a pack of 8!
and you can click here for the yellow & red printable to go with them OR a red and green printable for gift giving! Hailey is getting some for her teen friends, also think teachers, neighbors, co-workers, youth at church, students, mail carriers, birthdays, ministering sisters, clients, UPS delivery, church workers, bus drivers, or just to brighten a day!
Here is a printable with 4 to a page with the yellow and red:
These 12 packs of Bic permanent markers are only $3.99 -- the lowest they have ever been, and I’m not sure how long they will last!
I laugh at the word “shelfies.” I think it’s so clever and I would so much rather take shelfies than selfies!
I decided to of restyle the shelves after the gallery wall was finished because I didn’t want it to be too busy in here. The globes went downstairs to the basement family room where we are putting up some shelves from Sam’s Club. So you’ll see them…sometime.
There is nothing really new except for the globe from Michaels and that blue bowl is from TJ Maxx.

The soap deal is over BUT I have a cute printable you can add with the soaps for Christmas gifts (think ahead for teachers, mail carriers, visiting teachers, UPS delivery, church workers, bus drivers, neighbors!)

Here is the printable -- 4 to a sheet or 6 to a sheet for you to download or print.
Happy clean day and gift giving!

Hello! So, Valentine’s Day is this Saturday and I just barely put heart decor out this weekend! That’s okay, I’m just happy that it even happened. I have the landmark decision to just decorate my porch for holidays like Halloween, Valentines, 4th of July -- it makes it much more do-able for me and is still fun. Here is what I came up with for a wreath:
Here is what we are giving my oldest daughter’s teachers this year. She has has a lot more teachers in middle school, but we still wanted to do something to show appreciation that didn’t break the bank, so this is the $3 gift that we came up with:
