I have to admit, this nearly perfect summer day almost didn’t happen. We’re getting ready to go on our big trip, my to-do list is a couple pages long, and I was thinking of other things we could do that wouldn’t take as much time and picking up some berries at the Farmer’s Market, but look what we would have missed:

the blueberries were huge and scrumptious this year!

I got hit with a stomach bug on the 3rd. NOT fun. We did manage to drive up and visit with some family, and make some easy strawberries (idea from Pinterest!)

We hit a gorgeous sunset on our way back home on the 4th,
