Thank you for having cute sunglasses in your dollar spot section for $2.50. For people like me that lose them, that sit on them, whose kids play with them and break them and can't stomach seeing $20+ sunglasses go down the drain. Thank you.
Thank you, sunglasses.
For being my headband in the summer, and for shading my eyes that have no makeup on them so I can look like one of those with-it moms at swimming lessons that woke up at 6 a.m. and fed her kids organic oatmeal and fruit before lessons instead of one that leaped out of bed 1/2 an hour before lessons, threw her hair in a pony, and tossed the kids granola bars to the backseat on the way.
I bought 3 pair that I'll try to make last through the summer.
Thank you.
Making a fool of myself trying to show what they look like on and trying to make him laugh at the same time...
Well! Was that a fun time or what? My husband always teases me that we can't leave a party without me getting a paint color or a recipe, and boy did I! :) I can't believe all of the beautiful colors y'all had~my list is full to pick up paint swatches and samples and to add to my inspiration notebook. Thank you all for participating~I'm still making my way around to all of your blogs and there are still more people joining, so go see them as well. I'll close Mr. Linky tonight to keep the spammers at bay, so if you have one you still want to post, get it up there. I had such a fun time at the party~thank you!!
Are you ready for a paint part-ay? Here we go!
Here are some paint colors in my home:
In my kitchen, we have Benjamin Moore Wilmington Tan
a tan with gold undertones~very rich, love it with red accents, but I would suggest a room with lots of light on this one.

Meet Tracey from Notes from a Cottage Industry:
Before we talk paint, I need to say Happy Birthday to my mom!
She is an amazing woman and what I hope to be someday. I'm always asking myself "what would mom do??" Montana is a long way from Texas, and I miss her a ton. I hope you have the best day, Shuz! I love this picture of you and Landon, spit up and all!
Meet Layla from the Lettered Cottage:

I knew that somehow I wanted her to be a part of "my favorite paint color" week here at 320 Sycamore because of her fabulous eye for the right colors. I am so thrilled that she is beginning the week for us! She has a true passion for decor and the details~if you haven't been to her blog, it is a must-see. She and her husband are transforming their home room by room and the change is just remarkable. You've really got to go see the befores to appreciate what they've done so creatively on a budget.
