We had to make these:

This recipe is from my mom and these are just “fall” to me. We all love them and they make a huge batch so you can freeze some for later or take some to neighbors. They are soft and so, so good.september 2010 006 1

Happy (almost) Fall~

  1. I love pumpkin chocolate chip cookies....they are my absolute favorite fall treat. I make them only in the fall (they taste better then for some reason) but mine only take three ingredients. So yummy!

  2. I completely agree! They don't taste the same if you make them in March :)
    What are your 3 ingredients??

  3. YUM! Off to find some pumpkin at the store and make these for afterschool snacks! Thanks!

  4. I am dying for Thursday to make my annual pumpkin-chocolate chip bread! All I do is take Pillsbury Pumpkin quick-bread mix, add chocolate chips, and bake them in mini bread loaf pans. I'm practically drooling over your cookies right now. They look awesome!

  5. we put a maple frosting on ours and it is so delicious that I have to give them all away!

  6. sounds delish. i must try this! thanks for sharing!

  7. I make something similar to this with butterscotch chips instead but I'm totally going to have to try it out with chocolate! Thanks for the great idea...why didn't I think of it!?!

  8. Mine take three ingredients too-
    Spice cake Mix
    Can of pumpkin
    chocolate chips.

So easy! I haven't made them since last fall, I can't wait to make them again! YUM

  9. Those look delicious, Melissa! I've been itching to make my pumpkin bread, and I think you've just given me the go-ahead. ;)

  10. I'm looking forward to the party, Melissa!

Those cookies kind of look like my mom's carrot cookies. Ever had those? They were soft and puffy like these. No chocolate chips, though--we couldn't have afforded to add chocolate to carrot cookies! :)

  11. There is no canned pumpkin to be found in our city right now. =( Something about the pumpkin crop and lots of rain and the farmers haven't been able to get it canned yet? So I have to wait. Boo! Those do look good though!!!

  12. I was just thinking it was about time to make a batch of these! I'm pretty sure I have a can of pumpkin squirreled away, too :)

  13. I've been making these for years. I like them warm right out of the oven!

  14. So on the 3 ingred ones, you don't need eggs or oil or anything...?

  15. I made these the other day-- they were delicious, thanks! :)

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a note!
