deals 11.9.11

09 November 2011

* I have never seen American Girl dolls go on sale. Ever, except for when they did special bundles on QVC a few years ago. Maybe it’s a new thing they are starting because right now, they have their Marie-Grace and Cecilie dolls for 25% off (discount will show up at checkout) Until supplies last.

*If AG isn’t in the budget, Target has Our Generation Dolls that are around $28. At Target.com, there are toy coupons: clip the one for $5 off an Our Generation doll, and then there are toy coupon books at Target stores as well that look like this:

On page 3, there is a coupon for a FREE Our Generation Doll Outfit with the purchase of a doll. If you have a nice person at the register, you should be able to use both and get a doll and an outfit for around $23.

*Snapfish has 100 free prints using code PRINTSFREE, or 300 prints for $3 using SPOOKY300 through Nov. 13. You do have to pay some pricey shipping, but 5-6 cents a print isn’t too shabby. If you are into making photobooks, they also have a Get 2 FREE photo books when you buy one with coupon MYFALLBKS also through Nov. 13.

* Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 is $3.99 right now at Amazon!

* Do your kids love Webkinz? You can get 11 for about $37 shipped from Graveyard Mall, so about $3.36 for the full size Webkinz. These are great for stocking stuffers, bday party favors, or to go in on it with some friends if you don’t need all 11!

Happy deal finding!

  3. You mean it's not normal to add things to a prior list just to cross it off?! :)

Our girls were given the Target  Our Generation girls for Christmas last year.  They have consistently played with them throughout the entire year...  The girls are 6 and 8 and yes they are aware that the dolls are not the "real" American Girl Dolls but they still LOVE them.  Best present ever given to them!  Plus Grandma lovingly sewed them dozens of outfits from furry coats, evening gowns, to pajamas.  FYI The hair has matted on them a little and I've heard this doesn't happen with the AG dolls.

I agree...I think the hair is the biggest difference, but my girls have an AG and an OG doll and they love them both! How lucky are you to have a Grandma to sew clothes for them...don't you love that the clothes fit both brands?
