Here is part 1 and part 2 of this lovely house if you missed them. If you want the paint colors, go here. Let's go upstairs:
At the top of the stairs is a family gathering area for daily family devotional since all of the bedrooms are upstairs -- I loved that!
If you missed part 1 of this Utah Valley Parade of Homes, here it is. If you want the paint colors, go here. Let's continue on down into the basement -- as we came downstairs, there was a friendly family area with a projection tv. This was the only television we saw in the house, which I loved (we had just come from a house with 24 tvs!!).

Palmetto Bluff house with Suzanne Kasler:
* the real reason Elizabeth Smart was able to survive her abduction.
Hello! It's Parade of Homes season here and I have been going with my mom and sisters who are visiting. I *love* parade of homes -- so many innovative, fun, creative ideas whether you are building or not! I love to see how people live! Here is one of my favorites. The previous home was torn down and they were able to build this beautiful family home and keep the charm of the lot. The contractor was Davies Design Build in Utah. If you want the paint colors, my sister Kristin has them all here. I went crazy in this house, so many pictures I am dividing them up. It was about 9000 sq feet, so let's take about 3000 per day shall we?? :)
A happy yellow exterior:
I'm getting excited for the Parade of Homes next week, here is a gorgeous one featured at House of Turquoise from last year's parade:
Hello! Today we’re talking curtains for the family room for our
big tall windows. The window gives gorgeous views of the mountians and right now the sun is directly overhead during the day so it doesn't glare in the windows. But in the fall, winter and
early spring the sun is at just the right angle where sun comes pouring in and
it can get hot and bright. Sooo, I started looking at tall curtains and let me tell
you they are EXPENSIVE. Anything over the standard ikea 108” length will cost
you dearly. But I didn’t want to spend dearly, especially if I wasn’t IN LOVE
with them. And I found nothing in a 12ft tall size that I was in love with. So, I
turned to drop cloths! I bought this 9X12 one for $20. You can also get them at Home
Depot and Lowes, but these are the least expensive. A warning: some reviews
said theirs had 2 seams(?) but mine was right down the middle so it was
perfect.
