I wanted to make a cute, unique baby gift for a friend of mine and had seen some adorable creations around blogosphere with fabric paint and iron-ons, and wanted to try my hand at it. So, I took a 48 cent Old Navy shirt from their last clearance sale~they were marked .97, and then half off that~can you believe it?? Look at the tag to see for yourself....

JoAnn from The Gathering Place! Congratulations!!
Thanks to all two hundred and sixteen of you for celebrating 100 with me! I read and appreciated every word you left~thank you!!
P.S. To everyone who's left a comment or emailed me worrying that I was going to set my house on fire when I light the candle in my bathroom with the cotton around it~I promise I won't light it~it will be for decorative purposes only :) Thanks for looking out for me...see you back here tomorrow!
I got this brilliant idea from Real Simple (have I mentioned how much I love that magazine??) Anyway, this is for the beautiful ribbon you may get on packages or gifts and want to re-use: The next time you have your flat iron out for your hair, pull out your crumpled ribbon as well.
Give it a quick run through the hot flat iron and,

Which means....on Monday I'll have a giveaway for my 100th post! I'm so excited for it and think you'll love the treasures I have set aside especially for the occasion....

Some of you have asked how my baby is doing and how five kids is...
He's so good. He slept from 11:30 to 5:30 this morning, which is our longest stretch yet. Yea! Five has not been that different, mostly because my oldest two are 7 and 8 1/2, which means they can do so much more by themselves and are a huge help. When they were sick this month, I realized how much they do help me out~I missed it! So, it's been a pretty smooth transition, but of course we have our days and my biggest challenge is my little 2 year old who loves the baby (loves to lay on the baby, swing the baby very high, almost catapult the baby out of the bouncer, sneeze on the baby, you get the idea)
Here is a shot of him from our little outing to the park yesterday:

Have a wonderful weekend~I'll see you back here on Monday!
peel off the sticker, fill halfway up with cheap shampoo, fill the rest with water, and it still foams beautifully and gives you clean hands at a fraction of the price! You can still pull out the "real" ones when guests come. Works for me...
