Have you seen these little gems at the Dollar Tree? Mine had a ton of them and so did my friend's, so I'm guessing yours will too. They are a 4 pack of these mesh bags that are perfect for containing random things throughout the house. So far, I've used them for odd socks, bath toys, and leap frog fridge magnets. I stashed a pack in the car as well and have used them when we went cotton picking and to put my son's wet clothes in when he spilled a sonic slush all over himself. Works for me~

I'm sure there 101 more useful ways to use them~have you used these or can you think of a great use for these? I just have a feeling they are brimming with more potential wonderfulness.
Oh, and speaking of cotton, some of you have asked if you can buy some. Email me at lissylee@hotmail.com if you're interested and I'll get back with you.
Happy Wednesday!

I wanted to make a cute, unique baby gift for a friend of mine and had seen some adorable creations around blogosphere with fabric paint and iron-ons, and wanted to try my hand at it. So, I took a 48 cent Old Navy shirt from their last clearance sale~they were marked .97, and then half off that~can you believe it?? Look at the tag to see for yourself....

JoAnn from The Gathering Place! Congratulations!!
Thanks to all two hundred and sixteen of you for celebrating 100 with me! I read and appreciated every word you left~thank you!!
P.S. To everyone who's left a comment or emailed me worrying that I was going to set my house on fire when I light the candle in my bathroom with the cotton around it~I promise I won't light it~it will be for decorative purposes only :) Thanks for looking out for me...see you back here tomorrow!
I got this brilliant idea from Real Simple (have I mentioned how much I love that magazine??) Anyway, this is for the beautiful ribbon you may get on packages or gifts and want to re-use: The next time you have your flat iron out for your hair, pull out your crumpled ribbon as well.
Give it a quick run through the hot flat iron and,
