Here is a little project we’re working on in the playroom as you come down the stairs. My parents came out to visit and like a kind, sweet daughter, I put my dad to work. My husband, him, and me all helped with this one. Remember these alphabet letters I picked up at a yard sale (.25 for the whole set!) back in Texas?
We just spray painted some very thin trim in my fav Rustoleum Colonial Red and finally got to use my $50 Black Friday nail gun to attach it! We nailed up the trim and then glued the letters to the wall. That door you see is to the playroom closet. Much more on that later….

Do you remember how I told you I needed to gussy up my entryway because it was going to be featured?
featured the entryway benches in her “7 Stylish DIY Bloggers” article this month. I am in some amazing company with 6 other bloggers: some I knew, and some were new to me, but wow! Check them out:

Happy Tuesday, y’all~
It was a beautiful day yesterday filled with sunshine, beautiful church lessons, homemade cards, flowers, sticky kisses, family, good food that I didn’t cook, and joy about being a mother. AND I can’t tell you how much I loved reading and then re-reading all of last week’s guest posts. I think they should be in a book. If you haven’t read them yet, it is so worth it.
Meg Duerksen from whatever is here to wrap up our week of guest posts. Meg is a wife and the mother to 5 really cute kids. She loves Jesus, photography, coffee, blogging, gardening, sewing and creating art.
