Here are some deals that may be able to knock a few things off your Christmas shopping list (for you or others!)
Coldwater Creek is having an add’l 25% off their outlet, plus for free shipping use code WHH8931 when you check out.

It’s not just your mom’s store anymore…look at all the great stuff they have over there! ^ All of these pictures are from the outlet~awesome prices!
I got some of the blue scarves on the bottom (2.99 each!) to wrap teacher gifts in. They are so soft and nice.
The ikat napkins on the bottom left corner are 18 inches square, so wouldn’t they make great pillows if you sewed 2 together?? $9.99 for a set of 4.

Best fall recipe ever.
My sil Kristine introduced these to me when we were in Logan, Utah going to Utah State. (go Aggies!) I had never even heard of corn puffs. I became addicted and made her make these whenever we came over to play Pit or Phase 10.
1. Does your McDonald’s have pumpkin shakes?? We discovered these when we were driving from Utah to Montana for my sister’s wedding. They are d.i.v.i.n.i.t.y. The pumpkin-spice flavoring is perfect, it’s creamy, cold, I want one NOW, but do you think McDonald’s in Virginia have them? No ma’am. At least not in these parts. I am so jealous if your McD’s has them. Go have one for me. Or make one from the recipe on Our Best Bites.
2. Are your costumes all ready? If they’re not, it’s all good. I saw this link to Parents Magazine on A Bushel and a Peck of Fun and they have some fantastic no-sew ideas.

Lots of Old Navys are having an additional 40-50% off their clearance. ALSO….get this:
They are having their Kids Shop Free event exclusively for Old Navy, Gap, or Banana Republic cardholders. (note from Melissa: Old Navy is the only store credit card I have. I’ve never carried a balance on it, but it gives great rewards and discounts at O. Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic) Shop in-store 10/16 - 10/21 (tonight!!) and receive a FREE kid item with every adult item you purchase using your card! Kid item must be of equal or lesser value and excludes clearance items.
BUT my store clerk that answered the phone said they’ve actually found out that the kids item doesn’t have to be equal or lesser value.
Me: “wait a minute. Do you mean I could buy a $3 adult item and get a kids coat for FREE??”
Her: “Yup, we think it’s pretty crazy.”
Yikes! Guess where I’m headed tonight??
Good luck~call your store! :)
Well, hello.
Her arm was broken. I felt awful.
No more throwing up. The garage door got fixed today. The birthday cake is all gone. She’s done with soccer for the season (is it so bad that I am secretly THRILLED??) We all had a good night’s sleep. Thank you for your comments that made me laugh and feel so much better.
Here are some ideas from my sister’s reception in Montana I said I would share with you all:
First of all, on the way down set things up at the reception site, we had to stop at some yard sales. Of course.
Look what my cute sil Kristine found! It was *free* and she is going to turn it into a chalkboard. I had to restrain myself since I was flying home, but I got a few frames.
